Add real time discussion forums to your Versal content with the Discussion gadget. Discussion comments may be made in both author and learner view, allowing instructors in course editing mode to communicate directly with their learners. Authors are automatically assigned as the Admin of the discussion.
Click the placeholder text to type your topic. You may add a discussion guide, as well.
Click the text field by your icon to add a comment.
Click the "post" button, and your comment appears in the discussion. Comments are date and time stamped.
Learners respond directly in the lesson or course. The process is the same: click in the text field next to the icon to begin typing.
Below, the learner is responding with a new comment.
Responses may also be posted as replies. Click reply to the right of the comment to post a reply.
Click the "reply" button to post your reply.
Replies may be hidden by clicking "hide reply". This helps manage long threads.
By default, replies are hidden. A counter tells you the number of replies. Clicking the reply counter displays the replies.
You may also respond to other people's replies. These posts will nest in the reply the same way replies nest in comments.
Below, a nested reply is indicated by the reply counter.
Click the reply counter to reveal the nested reply.
