Create, organize, and schedule education programs with the Curriculum gadget. The Curriculum gadget imports and arranges the content you create on Versal.
To begin, add the Curriculum gadget to your lesson, then click "import courses".
A list of all your Versal content appears. Select content to add by clicking the radio button in the top left corner of the course image. You may select multiple courses to import at the same time.
Filter which courses appear in the Curriculum import list. You may filter by course role, as pictured below.
Use the search bar to filter courses by course title. Below, courses related to a specific curriculum all have the prefix "RT". This makes it easy to sort those courses for adding to the curriculum.
After selecting your courses, click "import" and they are added to the curriculum gadget.
Your courses will appear as tiles in the Curriculum gadget.
To adjust the display settings for your Curriculum, click the gear icon.
You may choose from a variety of options. Below, the display is changed to show the curriculum as a series bars rather than tiles.
To edit the meta data for individual lessons in the curriculum, click the lesson's pencil icon.
You will enter editing mode for the selected lesson.
You may change the display information by replacing text in the text fields. Edits made here do not change titles or descriptions of the actual lessons. Changing the information here only changes what is displayed in the curriculum.
You may also choose how courses are displayed when they open, and whether or not a prerequisite course is required.
Schedule courses and add additional links from the top menu. Click schedule course to access the scheduling system.
Set start and end dates by clicking on the date fields. Ending dates are optional. If an end date is chosen, the lessons in the curriculum will not be accessible after that date.
Choose how to release courses from the drop down menus. The schedule updates in the right column, showing the days courses will be released. You may also choose which days of the week to release courses.
Learners see a message indicating when a course is available.
Selecting to add a link to the curriculum opens the link manager. Add your link URL in the Address field. Then fill in the additional fields and add an image if desired. This information will display in the same way your Versal content displays in the curriculum.
