The Google Classroom Share Button allows you to easily share your Versal content as assignments and announcements in Google Classroom.
Watch this short video to see how it works, or read below for step-by-step instructions.
In order for Google Share to work correctly, your Versal account email and Google Classroom account email must be the same.
Publish your Versal content. (Note: The course must be set to public before publishing)
Click the Google Share button under the sharing tab of your course management page.
A sharing window will appear. Choose your class from the drop down list.
Choose assignment or announcement.
Describe the assignment or announcement, pick a due date (the course link will be included automatically), and click assign.
Click the view button to view your Versal materials in the assignment or announcement you made in Google Classroom.
Your students will access their Google Classroom assignment or announcement like any other. Instruct them to click the link to access the course.
They are directed to the course’s overview page. If they haven’t signed into Versal yet, direct them to click “sign in”.
To sign in without creating a Versal account your students can use the Google Sign In option.
Once they sign in, instruct them to click “start course” on the course overview page.
